Our History

For more than three decades, Loomis Construction has been building custom homes in the Mountain West, partnering with homeowners and architects who value clarity, craftsmanship, and disciplined execution.

From the beginning, Loomis was founded on the belief that successful custom homebuilding requires more than technical skill—it requires steady leadership, thoughtful planning, and a deep respect for the process. As projects have grown more complex over the years, that philosophy has only become more essential.

Over time, Loomis has navigated shifting markets, evolving design standards, and increasing construction complexity, while maintaining a consistent approach: engage early, plan thoroughly, and execute with care. Long-standing relationships with architects, trade partners, and clients have been built through reliability, transparency, and follow-through—not volume or speed.

Today, Loomis Construction remains intentionally focused on a select number of custom homes each year. That focus allows the same leadership to stay closely involved from early planning through completion, ensuring each project reflects its original intent and is built to perform for decades to come.

Our history is not defined by how many homes we’ve built, but by how we build them—and the trust that has been earned along the way.
